Shaking Street opened its doors in August 2009 with a mission to bring the world of 20th century pop culture to the world.

The Gallery houses an eclectic mix of movie posters, toys, retro video games original comic art pages and psychedelic and prgressive vinyl records from the immediate post-war years through to the end of the last century. We don't carry regular stock though. Instead we have a rolling programme of themed exhibitions that change every few weeks (check events to find out what's on). We like to show visitors how the different strands of pop culture are interlinked and a product of the age in which they are created. Every item has its own story and its own place in history.

Most of what's on display is for sale but a lot of it is just there because it's rare and interesting and people deserve achance to see it - too many important collections remain hidden forever.
